The price was certainly what caught my eye. Honestly, I wasn't expecting a whole lot, however, I was quite impressed with the construction and they are very warm.

Lining a bit thin
By DC from Michigan on 02/18/2009
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Haven't used yet because we have had a mild stretch in Michigan but I know that won't last. By the looks of the mittens they are attractive, leather is soft and nice quality but the sheepskin lining is sparce and thin. I am use to soft, thick sheepskin like you find in booties and slippers or my sheepskin coat...this is a little cheaper quality but they may be very warm...we will see:-)

Comments:
I've used these on an outdoor winter vacation in the snow mountains of Colorado. They kept my hands warm and fit well. I used them only for long walks. They probably would not be good for skiing or other outdoor sports, but a great value for the dollar.

warm, could be tighter
By Diane from Charlottesville, VA on 02/16/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Warm
Cons:
Not snug enough
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I bought these after experiencing a bit of frostbite w/ my old gloves, when temps dropped into single-digits. Friends who had Reynaud's Syndrome said I MUST go to mittens; others recommended sheepskin gloves. These have been warm so far, with temps in the 20s; I'm waiting for lower temps, to check them out further. My only drawback so far is that the elastic around the wrists isn't tight enough, and I wish that elastic was further up the wrists. (I ordered a large. I don't know my glove size, but I'm tall and have large feet, so I likely have long hands as well!)

Comments:
leather mittens are hard to find - this one has exceeded my expectations! first pair lasted 2+ years w/o the leather shrinking. just need to avoid sharp objects like dog teeth or it will catch & tear. had to buy additional 10 pairs in case you discontinue selling the item!!![...]
