Very lightweight but perfect.

Covers neck as well. Insulation of nose & mouth keeps whole face comfortable in cold weather without sweating, at least for 4 miles at a stretch. Stretchable, yet well fitting to keep you warm.

I plan to purchase this product again! By Yvonne the Walker from Louisville, KY on 01/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the Wickers Balaclava to protect my face and neck when I walk for exercise in the business district in the morning and during lunchtime. Avg. product, but good for intended use. By Hockey Mom from Portland, ME on 01/26/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Protection Cons: Poor Fit, Uncomfortable seams Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cross Country, Under hockey helmets Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this product for my children (age 7 & 9) and myself. I have used mine for winter running and downhill skiing. Fit and comfort level have been good but not excellent. In regards to kids: I had a lot of trouble finding kids sizes; so I choose something I thought to be versatile. The eye socket size is too large and the forehead puckers up so that when I put a hockey helmet on over the mask it bunches up. Also, there is a seam across the top of the head that feels funny when under a helmet. The weight is good for under a helmet and it does breath. Overall, the product has worked, but I believe there may be something better on the market.

I love it. It fits very nicely too.
By Skiing in PA from Cleveland/ Laurel Highlands of PA on 01/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought one for my wife and for me. We've used around the house when walking the dog in colder/windier conditions in Cleveland and it worked great. THEN came this weekend. We ski all the time in PA and Sat morning it was -6*F with wind chills -20* and lower. I wore this piece under my helmet, tucked it in and out we went. It was AWESOME to be so warm and insulated. It wicks moisture just as it says it does. I'm ordering more for backup!
