By doris from Dayton, OH on 12/27/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this mask doesn't fit properly, it is too heavy
By craig the skiier from Washington on 12/27/2007 Cons: Not Breathable, Retains Odor, Traps moisture poor dry Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This mask traps moisture in an attempt to wick away moisture. What happens is that as you breathe, a tube carries the moisture away, but it does not do the job at all. It takes on about what seems like a pound of moisture by the end of a ski day.
By tada from new york on 12/26/2007 Cons: Fogs glasses, Poor Fit, Retains Odor Best Uses: Immobile in extreme cold Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Not usable if active Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was surprised at how poorly this product was designed.Usually I have no problems with products purchased from this site, they seem to have missed on this one. Here is a list of some design defects
First, strap is placed so it sits on the crest of your head.
Second, unless you tighten the strap to the point of discomfort it slides down.
Third, the bottom of the mask does not conform to your face but forms a skirt.
Fourth, the recess for the nose is minamal and with the strap cinched tight your nose is pinched.
Fifth your glasses will fog and even if you wear contacts most people involved in winter sports need glasses for wind protection.
This product is fine if you are going to sit or stand still in the cold but for any activity that requires movement or rapid resperation it is a waste
By Willard from Grand Junction, CO on 12/26/2007 Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I do not like the design for how it fits on your face. It does not wrap around your chin and it seems like you would have to have it pretty tight for it to stay on during any type of winter sports, maybe if you were not active it would work. I will be returning mine.

By flag girl from Grand Rapids, MI on 12/23/2007 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Winter work outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Breathing in there is a small amount of resistance. Eyeglasses fog, but I like product. I am also waiting on exchanger II to arrive, in hopes the eyeglass issue will be lessened.
By Ranger from New Mexico on 12/19/2007 Pros: Good Protection, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works as advertised! Kept breath warm and moist, felt warmer overall. Fit a bit awkward as strap must be worn higher than expected and may tend to slip. May not cinch well on smaller heads. Best for sedentary or light activity since you can really feel the effort of heavy breathing.

It does keep your face warm but it doesn't have great breathability.
