By teacherlydon from Tiverton, Rhode Island on 12/12/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very poor fit for a small face. Not for use with goggles. Even if you breathe through your mouth the goggles will fog.

By GreatMom from Minneapolis, MN on 12/07/2007 Pros: Breathable, Good Protection Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have yet to try this in REALLY cold Minnesota weather, but the concept seems to make sense. This feels a bit weird when you first put it on, but then you kind of get used to it. I think it will be great when the windchill reaches below zero.
By The Boogey Man from NE Georgia on 12/07/2007 Cons: Loose Fitting, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this hoping it could be used under my helmet while motorcycle riding. Feels weird on my face. Wants to sag since I couldn't get the head band adjustment tight enough. It's a heavier item and hangs down below the chin too far. Might work under a balaclava or ski mask. Alright to breathe through but too weird for me to use.
By Jim the Surveyor from Utah on 12/03/2007 Pros: Especially stunning black Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I could make one of these myself with a beanbag and a rubber band... ...okay maybe not, but close. It's not a mask really. It kind of sits on top of your face and mouth and you breath through it. It comes over your nose but not under your chin at all. It really does feel like a beanbag wtih a strap on it. It's not nearly as tall/maskish as it looks in the picture.
I got to use on the ATV and it won't work for that. The strap has to cinch up on the top/back of your head rather than fastening behind the neck like a regular mask. It would not work with a helmet and your chin/neck will still freeze.
I'm going to have to send it back so I'm not going to use it. I suspect that it would be dificult to keep the strap positioned so as to keep the mask on.
...it smells funny too. Kind of a problem for something you breath through.

By KL from San Diego, CA on 11/28/2007 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a small face and this mask did not fit at all, even after cinching the strap all the way in. Definitely not a one-size-fit-all product.
Super mask for insulating cold air By The Big Mo from Fargo ,North Dakota on 11/08/2007 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Good Fit, Good Protection, Warm, Warms air well Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a heart condition and get angina when breathing cold air. This mask warms the air and has been excellent in preventing angina pain in cold weather. I live in North Dakota where it gets about as cold as Alaska...and it works.
