By dry head from denver co on 08/04/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hat looks kinda silly, but it is a very nice, warm, waterproof hat for cool and rainy weather.
By Alpaca girl from Ohio on 08/04/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this hat! It fits great, and is not bulky at all. I have yet to put it to the test, but am hoping the other reviews are correct when they say it's warm and waterproof. It is very well made, and I love the little bill. Since I wear glasses, this will help keep snow and rain off the lenses.
My head is just over 22" (just above the eyebrows) and the Medium fits perfectly. I probably won't be wearing it to town much, as it's a little Elmer Fudd looking, but since I own a farm, I'm not exactly surrounded by critics, so it doesn't really matter to me how I look.
I like it so much, I've ordered two more in different colors....Don't want the animals to get bored with me. ;-)
i would buy this product again By Bozena from Nj on 08/03/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Should be fine this winter By Curt from Willamina, OR on 08/03/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these caps for our cold & wet winters out here in the Coast Range of Oregon - I believe they'll work just fine. The flaps cover the ears well and they're Goretex so water should run right off.
By DJ from NY on 07/30/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Wish the brim was larger Best Uses: Winter Hinking, Winter sports, Working in cold weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I plan on brining this hat with me anytime I expect cold or wet weather. The fit is very comfortable. Your not going to win any style awards but it will keep you head dry and warm. I think if th brim was a little larger it would do a better job of keeping the wet weather off the face.
By Peg from New Hampshire on 07/30/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Not scratchy, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold weather sports Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Outdoorsy, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What a great hat for really cold weather, but not too bulky and not scratchy like woolen hats. Breathes, so the head doesn't get wet during active outdoor sports, and waterproof so the head stays dry in snow or rain. Fabulous colors and very cute in a Rocky the Flying Squirrel sort of fashion. The perfect hat for New Hampshire winters, and light enough to put in the glove box for a back up emergency hat or to put on while scraping off the car in a blizzard. The ear flaps are just right to keep out the wind and cold without looking totally dorky. (It's a hat with flaps, so you've got to expect that it's going to look a little dorky... but it does it in a totally cute way!) Keeps my head warm enough for cross country skiing bcs it breathes, but not too hot.
By Irish jim from Northern Michigan on 07/29/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Blowing snow in freezing, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Winter sports & snow blowing in very cold weather.
By Camping Dude from Boulder, CO on 07/29/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry camping Describe Yourself: Outdoorsman Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hat is really warm and comfy. fleece lined, goretex, ear flaps. all good. The whole thing is a little dorky looking in any configuration, though. But who cares when you are out in the woods, right?
By Kay from Washington, DC on 07/20/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When the winter sun is in your eyes and it is too cold to wear a baseball cap, this does the trick. It is thin enough to fit under the hood of my Canada Goose Resolute parka - also purchased from [...]. Best of all, my waist-length hair all fits inside this nifty cap. I'm all set for winter vacations in Michigan.
