They fit remarkably well, being a little large on my younger girls but still very functional.
They are suprisingly thick (thicker than the Wickers Expedition Weight Balaclava) but being too warm has yet to be a problem.
There are no annoying seams and the children really like to wear them. It would be nice if they were longer in the back of the neck, but otherwise they are quite good.

The fleece is thicker than I expected. It may make for a tight fit under that hockey helmet, but it will definitely keep them warm!

I would encourage parents who need something for any kid 35+ pounds to get the adult because the youth is really for young todder/baby size.

Seems like it has room to grow, so will fit somewhat older kids as well...I could fit it on my adult head, though it was tight and eye opening was in wrong place! Great deal.
