She has lost all her hair, and although she has a wig for social occasions, she usually wears a hat for running errands and general day-to-day wear. This hat is soft, large enough to cover her head and attractive. It is warm enough to keep her head warm now that the weather is cold and snowy.

It's top is square d/t stitching with the reversable pattern. Not crazy about this.

A head band is not warm enough and it makes my hair stand up on the top rim of it. This hat is double layered fleece, reversible, thick and warm. It totally blocks the wind. It is better than the head band. It covers the whole head including top, forehead, ears although this hat is a little bit loose on me. With it on, I still can see everything in front of me. Fortunately, it is deep enough to roll the bottom up that it tightens up. It does not mess up my hair although it generates static when I take it off. Good protection for those who goes in and out in the cold temperature of 30 degrees or below.
