They do the job - watch the size, though By Ron from Baltimore, MD USA on 02/28/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Cons: Sized a little small Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking/Running Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves do what they say they are marketed to do. They are lightweight; they block a heck of a lot of wind; they are warm with moderate activity - extremely warm if one is vigorously active.
They are snug - so you have to size up if you don't want sweaty insides. I didn't have the option of returning for a larger size since STP was out of next larger size. I am glad that I kept these though.
They do the job - watch the size, though By Ron from Baltimore, MD USA on 02/23/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Too snug a fit, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold Weather Walks, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think I really missed out when i didn't size up... I have these in medium like the rest of my gloves; but these are TOO snug. I thought they would loosen up a bit with use. The windstopper layer does not give at all.
The gloves are warm - warmer than the fleece ones I'm tossing out after 4 years. They do what they are supposed to do.

These are as warm as bulky ski gloves, but a lot easier to grip and hold things with.

couldn't believe how wam these kept my h By iceman from Hollidaysburg, Pa. on 12/30/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Cons: Stays wet inside from Best Uses: Driving, Hiking/Running, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Working Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: love these gloves for any really cold outdoor use. I wish they dried inside easier as they are so warm yours hands tend to sweat and drying the inside can be a problem unless your not going to use them until the next day.
Gloves comfortable when dry, less so wet By slungebucket from lower Hudson Valley, NY on 12/30/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Windproof Cons: Not Breathable, Not Weatherproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Didn't breathe as well as I'd hoped and once wet from sweat, not nearly as warm. [...] but wouldn't pay more for it.
By Sven of the North from Minneapolis on 12/30/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected fleece gloves that are a little thicker than non-windstopper, but not so bulky that they're difficult to get into my skate-ski pole straps. They run a tad large and I have long hands, so if you're a tweener, I'd order down. I'd recommend at Sierra's price, but not as the ideal XC gloves.
