By AA from Freezing NH on 02/07/2008 Cons: Not Weatherproof, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The inside of these gloves shed. It does not feel like shearling inside the glove. I'm still looking around for a good pair of shearling gloves. These are cheaply made.
By JUST TRYING TO KEEP WARM from NORTHERN MICHIGAN on 01/18/2008 Cons: Not Breathable, Not Weatherproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: GLOVES ARE WARM AND HAVE A TRUE FIT BUT I WORE THEM WHILE I WAS SHOVELING SNOW AND MY HANDS TURNED BLACK FROM THE DYE IN THE GLOVES AND LINING. I HAD TO RINSE THEM OUT FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES EACH TO GET OUT THE EXCESS DYE AND THEN RINSE THEM THROUGH THREE CYCLES IN THE WASHER AND THEN WASH THEM. THE SHEEPSKIN LINING WAS FULL OF LOOSE WOOL FIBERS AND HAD TO BE TURNED INSIDE OUT TO REMOVE ALL OF THAT PLUS THE DYE IN THE LINING UNDER RUNNING WATER. HAVE YET TO WEAR THEM SINCE TO SEE IF MY HANDS TURN BLACK AGAIN. IF THEY DO, I WILL BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH SIERRA TRADING POST- THESE GLOVES WERE MADE IN CHINA AND NEED I SAY MORE? BE WARY OF ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COUNTRY - THEY HAVE NO STANDARDS AT ALL.

Warm gloves-- just OK for the price By Milton Mom from Milton, DE on 01/03/2008 Cons: Discolors hands, Doesn't feel like wool, Poor Grip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The gloves are warm, but run LARGE! They are soft suede on the outside but do not feel like shearling on the inside. The hair feel stiff and straight, not at all like lamb. They turn the hands and nails black and I did not even get them wet. They are OK for outdoor play with the kids, but would not wear them anywhere that my hands would be seen afterward!
I wouldn't have bought them for myself By Terri Kate from Austin, Texas on 01/02/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I received these as a gift. They are warm enough, but the inside feels like it's worn in places - thicker in some spots than others. The outside also has a couple worn spots. I wouldn't buy these for myself if I saw them in a store.

By Beverly from Highlands Ranch, CO on 12/24/2007 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Cons: Leaves Black in Fingernai Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these gloves because they go with everything and they are super warm. The thing I don't love, is that they leave black in my fingernails from the inside of the glove when I wear them. This is actually the second pair I bought, because I lost my other pair.
