By Vmorgans from Bloomington, IN on 01/20/2008 Pros: Durable, Really warm Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We took these to the barn to try them in really cold hours long wear and while they are not pretty our hands stayed MUCH warmer than with some of our very expensive and much thicker gloves and were thin enough to ride in and be able to use your fingers. Not pretty but with warm hands who cares?
By cymru from Granger, IN on 01/01/2008 Best Uses: Working Outdoors Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these gloves for my mom for christmas. I could tell she wasn't to thrilled, but I told her they're just for working outside when you don't want to ruin a good pair of gloves. I hope she understands!!
By Outdoors Kate from Northeast on 12/30/2007 Cons: Not soft at all, Strong chemical smell Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Conservative Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking forward to a great pair of gloves- I got these instead. There is a terribly strong chemical smell to them, and they are very coarse, rough wool. I purchased an additional pair to give as a christmas gift, but they are really not gift-giving quality. Rather dissapointing.
By SarahRows from Ann Arbor, MI on 12/29/2007 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are warm, as promised. I am going to try them with glove liners to provide a barrier to the itch and make them tolerable. They seem to run a bit small - I got larges (no mediums were available) and they are just right. We'll see whether liners will actually fit underneath...

By Jimbo from Oakland, CA on 12/14/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little fuzzy, but I am not used to any wool other than Merino or Smart Wool. Alpaca wool is much warmer than either of the two.
