They do run small. But if your goal is to have warm hands they can't be beat. They slip on and off easily for tasks that require some dexterity. If your outside in the winter ( x country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, shoveling, etc.) you need a pair of these.
Two pairs of gloves for 1 price By none from Catskill, NY on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Hiking/Running, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After trading in the women's medium gloves since they were too small, I found the exact duplicate in the men's department with a much better fit. They will be ideal in the really cold weather as they are so warm, but on warmer days I plan on just wearing the liners. I love the softness of the leather palm and the fur on the backs. They are bulky so may be difficult to work with.
By Caitlin from Portland, OR on 01/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took these to Barrow, AK in December. Was outside in -38F and NO problem keeping hands warm. Had to take off for photography, hands were instantly freezing even with windproof gloves (not Grandoe) on. BUT, warmed up soon after putting mittens back on. Truly amazing!
By skierguy from Baltimore, MD on 01/07/2009 Pros: Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens might be great for hiking in the mountains but they are going to be tough for skiing. They are super warm and really technical but they are so bulky they will be nearly impossible to put them through the loops in my ski poles. Love the warmth but I am not sure I will be able to use them for skiing. While they are great mittens I would have trouble recommending them for skiing due to the difficulty you will have with them with your ski poles.

Otherwise these are warm, well made mitts for the wild winter.

Better than other "technical" shell and liner mitts I have by any measure.
