By practical person from Kansas City, MO on 10/26/2009 Best Uses: Working Outdoors Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not yet snow season but they appear to be warm. The flap to fold over fingertips is long enough to store a hanky in, really too long but for the price they are functional.
By jk from Arvada, CO on 10/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought to replace 15 year old wool mittens with pop top AND thumb slit.
Finger freedom without thumb freedom is worthless for most tasks. I have to remove entire glove. Might as well buy regular gloves.
By KC511 from Midwest on 03/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Working Outdoors Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I buy these for my father who lives in a rural area with animals. These mittens allow him to expose his fingers when needed (working with saddles, bridles, gate locks, etc). They're also good for hauling water and feed in buckets because the leather palm patch keeps the handle from digging in.
"Finally found the best of both!" By Handyman from Chicago on 03/30/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Driving, Pumping gas, Working Outdoors Gear Usage: Garage, Workshop, yard work Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best for working in the garage when everything you touch is cold but you need your fingers. Also great for driving and getting gas without freezing your fingers or losing your grip on the wheel.

The size is great to fit over my swollen knuckles. Best fit of many gloves, and warmth, great invention.

One bigger than the other By dohitscold from NYC, NY on 03/24/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased two pair of these at the same time. ON BOTH PAIR the two mitten ends were not the same length. In fact i couldn't even mix and match them because in both cases the left hand mitten was way longer than the right hand mitten. On top of that the velcro closures seem rather poorly stiched.
By Suzy Psych from Portland, OR on 03/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a pair before and loved them so I was thrilled to find a new pair for only [$]!
By john biker from inland on 03/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: a bit bulky but that's just the way this style of glove is. I sprayed 3m waterproofer and they handled the snow and rain well. Very warm on 30F bike rides in the morning. I like them a lot and breathe excellent.
