He has these in at least one other pair in another color, and they are his favorites. He says that they are extremely comfortable and warm, but without being too bulky for his professional wear.

It's smooth leather has a dressy appearance and I would not use it for anything else, least you might destroy its good looks. Be advised the brown color is a Hershey's dark chocolate brown.
