Cozy. Comfortable. Good on the steering wheel. (New Hampshire North Country)

Fingers stay warmer in mittens. By Squeezebox from Dearborn Heights, MI. on 01/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Running the snow thrower, Shoveling snow Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If I were still skiing, I would use the mittens for that. When out in the winter shoveling and cleaning up the snow these mittens keep your hands warm. Your fingers freeze in gloves. I live in Michigan so I will get a lot of use out of them.

By Liz from Buckingham, Virginia on 01/02/2009 Pros: Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: MY HUSBAND ORDERED ME 2 PAIRS. 1 MITTEN IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOR FROM THE OTHER 3. The thumbs on three mittens are mishapen and it is hard to put your thumbs in. You can see the side seams are not where they are supposed to be.
The label needs to be changed. Intead of to clean dab with a damp cloth they say dad with a damp cloth.
Very unsatisfactory, but not worth the postage to return them
By Super Skier from Hood River, OR on 12/27/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the lg size, as recommended and they're perfect. These are great for shoveling snow, cross country skiing and active outdoor use. They're not really waterproof so they do get wet if used while it's snowing.
By Lucy from Indianapolis on 12/23/2008 Pros: Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Winter hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My hands get hot in most mittens. These are a lighter weight and keep my hands warm without getting them hot. If you have trouble keeping your hands warm in the winter, these mittens are not for you. Nor are they good for skiing. I went up a size after reading the reviews. I'm glad since my regular size would have probably been too short. The width is not an issue. Since they are suede, they are not washable. I wore them in light rain and my hands stayed dry, but it took forever for the mittens to dry. The insides are very soft and feel good on the skin. Wind is blocked well. If you realize its limitations, these mittens will serve you well.
