The perfect mittens for Autumn & Spring! By willow tree from New England on 10/19/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Going Out Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These fit my 18 month-old son perfectly. They have a lot of give, so I think they will fit him for a few months. The elasticized part is comfortably snug, so I think these mittens could also fit babies as young as 8 months.
I was surprised by how cute these mittens are in real life. I purchased the blue and the red because the price is so great. The light camel color on the mittens accents his Acorn booties that I purchased here perfectly. It's so easy to match the blue or red ones, especially with the light camel accents. He wears them with his autumn sweaters and fleeces and it's the perfect combination for a brisk New England October walk. I love these mittens and the price is unbeatable!
The best part is that they are easy to get on when we're heading out the door. They stay on securely as well.
By Magnolia's Mommy from Indianapolis, IN on 12/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Gear Usage: OK for Fall or Sping or m Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My 21 month old will wear these, so they must be comfortable, but they are very light. They look lined, but it is only decor. The wind goes right through them and her hands are cold in no time. Moisture also soaks through, so they aren't good for outdoor play in cold weather.
