By FishingFool from SimiValley, CA on 03/31/2009 Cons: Fingers are too long, Palm area is tight, Poor Design, Very tight fitting Best Uses: Fresh Water, Ice Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these to use for cold weather fishing-fresh and saltwater. Tight fitting, but once worn, they do offer protection from the cold.
Will really test them out at the trout opener in the Eastern Sierras soon.

By Offshore Sailor from SF Bay Area on 03/13/2009 Best Uses: Cold weather sailing Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The hard hook portion of the fold-back finger fasteners (Velcro) is right where one is apt to wipe a cold runny nose! And it hurts, especially if your nose is cold! Also, a seam blew out on my mind on day 3 of use... [...]
Great for water activities By Chef Ted from On the Vineyard on 03/11/2009 Cons: Order one size larger Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The sizes tend to run small, so definitely order one size larger. Work great for kayaking, fishing, quahogging, scalloping and all things in or on the water.

Good ideas, poorly executed... By NW FlyChucker from Seattle, WA on 03/08/2009 Pros: Functional, Good design, Warm Cons: Poor Construction, Uncomfortable seams Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The design of these gloves is great for flyfishing - kept my hands warm while fishing the surf in 35 degree weather while allowing quick access to fingertips for tying knots. Unfortunately, after two outings several seams started ripping. These were cheap, but not enough to be disposable!
By Carper from Hudson Valley, New York on 03/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a medium glove as most large gloves are a little to big. I ordered the large after reading that these gloves are small sized. I tried them on and they are really small. Fingers were way to short. I should have ordered extra large. [...]. These gloves dont even fit my wife....
