Great compromise betwn gloves & mittens! By Ludeykrus from North Georgia on 08/01/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant Cons: Lacks convertible thumb Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an excellent product following an excellent concept. The convertible mitten allows one to have a pair of Thinsulated wool mittens (which are weatherproof and help keep warm even when wet, unlike cotton) while allowing you to flip the top to expose your fingers for more fine work. The only problem I've really had is that they wear a bit due to having to twist/turn things, like bolts. This involves using the thumb, which is not convertible. Spectacular, otherwise.
Mittens work like they advertized. By Grady from Gallup. Con: Velcro fasteners could be sewn own better.
I expected something larger By Harrison-Cooper from Rochester, NY on 12/31/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We love having the option of taking off just the top of the mitten to use our fingers. I would have bought more for other family members if I had known they ran small.
