Good glove for the price. By golffreak from Spring Valley, MN on 12/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Shoveling Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The gloves are a little cold when it gets down to 10 degrees, but only if you're holding onto a shovel or something. If you put a thin liner in they are plenty warm. I would buy again.
By South Cove Kayak from Old Saybrook CT on 12/11/2008 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a few Grandoe gloves from Sierra's. They have all been good buys and good products. This is a very nice mid weight glove for everyday use. It was a bit cold on 10 degree camping trip, but I kept insulated mitts for that. Leather palm gives good grip and extra layer to wear if you're picking up firewood or similar.
Probably going to buy a second pair for my son.
By Vivid outdoors activist from Shelton, CT on 12/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The product is not suitable for cold temperatures around 15-20F as tested in New England weather. It is still a better product for a bit warmer temperatures.

In cold weather, grab a different glove. By Billy the kid from Washington, DC and Co. on 11/26/2008 Cons: Not Warm, Not Weatherproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I put on this glove to test it out in cold weather (near 30). After walking around for about a half hour, my hands were cold. I wanted this for winter mountaineering, that will not be possible
By Ski Bum from Denver, CO on 11/14/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like to wear a separate liner inside the glove. This glove is roomy, but not bulky.
By Ruben from Longmont, CO on 09/18/2008 Cons: Condensation inside, Not Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a pair of those and glove liners for my climb on Elbrus, Russia. The gloves failed at around 10*F, and my hands got very cold. I had to use chemical warm pack to keep my fingers somehow alive.
They may be OK for warmer weather ( 20s - 30s *F ), but forget them if you are going to do serious climb.
By jose from Montreal, CA on 04/20/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only gloves that keep me warm during the winter in montreal. You can even put your hands inside the pool and will not feel the coldness.
