Pros:
Comfortable and easy on, Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Sun
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I use the gloves when out in the bright sun in Georgia when I train my dog, a retriever. My hands have had a lot of sun exposure and are showing signs of premature aging due to the rays of the sun. These gloves should take care of the problem.
By KCF from Newbury, NH on 5/14/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Sun
Cons:
Palm is not padded, Palm is not reinforced
Best Uses:
As sun protection
Describe Yourself:
Beginner
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: These gloves are as advertised, so no problem there; I had hoped the gloves would have had some padding in the palm or at least had some thicker material in the palm to resist abrasion while paddling

Sun protective gloves are exceptional
By Rx Flyfisher from Westminster, MD formerly of Gallup, NM on 4/23/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Sun, No sense of wearing them, Stylish
Cons:
Not rugged for rough use
Best Uses:
Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing
Describe Yourself:
Avid Fisher
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: This is the second pair I have worn, the first not yet totally worn out. I have 2 more pair in reserve. This is an item I will never go without even in cloudy weather. I wish I had been able to use something like this 35 years ago. Thus far no skin cancers on my hands and wrists but lots of spots from early sun exposure. Protect yourselves - wear these gloves! Pros:
Good Protection from the Sun
Bottom Line:

Comments: I bought my mom & dad a pair since I liked mine so much. They're so easy to take everywhere for sun protection. The two sizes seem to fit most everyone since they're so stretchy. Love that they're flesh colored and so silky feeling. Not just for fishing!

Flimsy palms, Seams unravel easily
Best Uses:
Walkingjogging outside
Describe Yourself:

Comments: Good protection from the sun but without sturdier material on the palms, I can't use them for fishing or any other manual activity. Good stretch to get them on and off.
By DKT from Traverse City, MI on 4/17/2008
Pros:
Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Sun
Describe Yourself:
Avid Fisher
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: These gloves are especially good for out west fishing in summer months with full sun days at altitude; salt water use is also recommended. These fit very well, are thin enough to allow natural feel and do not interfere with fishing function. Additionally, they protect the casting hand from blistering on heel of casting hand on full day fishing with hundreds of casts until callous reestablishes after offseason respite.
