Glacier Fly Fishing Stripping Gloves By Surffisher turned Flyfisher from So. California area on 03/03/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased two pairs of gloves, one to give as a gift to a fishing buddy who is the trout-fisher and one to keep for my own use. I'm gonna try them when I attend a fly-fishing class this next month at a local beach. The protection of my indoor soft hands will come when I practice the many casts I make during flyrod casting techniques class and then try to cast a clouser fly into the So. California surf-fishing zone beyond the breaking surf waves in search of anything with scales/fins of the fishy nature. I am really pleased with the workmanship and quality of the design materials.
