By Carlee's Grandpa from Carlisle, PA on 03/08/2009 Pros: Camo Design, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Cool weather in woods Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This vest is not heavily insulated as for cold, winter use, rather has very effective 'medium' insulation, just right for cool weather of Spring and Fall. It is extremely well-made of a quality [non-duck] material, with Realtree camo, and not too noisy. Someone previously commented on the shiny silver zipper as a disadvantage of this vest, and that could be a problem for turkey hunters if the zipper is not covered. This is my third or fourth piece of Canadian-made Natural Habitat products, and I'm very pleased with all, especially at Sierra's good prices.
By Billybob Windrow from Carmel Valley CA on 12/02/2008 Cons: No Ammo Storage, Not Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fairly light insulation. Flashy metal zip not covered might flair birds despite marsh camo. Good quality but will use as liner vest.
