By marblesky from Naples, FL on 10/21/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a runner and this skirt is perfect for me! The shorts are tight, but I think they're better that way. It prevents them from riding up so I feel they fit true to size (unless you have larger than normal thighs). The skirt was very comfortable while running. It also looks very cute. My only concern is it lasting over time.
By running girl from Fort Worth, Tx on 10/17/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am new to using skirts to run but this is the third SkirtSports skirt I have purchased from STP and I love it. It is light weight and doesn't ride up even in the wind. This model is actually a little better fitted through the hips so is probably not good for women who are very curvy. The boy shorts start out feeling tight but loosen up as you run. I let my daughter run in it and she liked it so much I gave it to her . . so now I need to order another one for me.
By V-Ness from Chattanooga, TN on 10/04/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Best Uses: Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a size 4 and the small was just to small. The shorts were very tight around my legs and the front of the skirt was pulling and was tight in the thighs. I returned it for a medium and it does fit but unless I roll the top band down it has a tendency to fall down some while I run. I do wish that these came in more colors and size Med because I love the long slits on the side and the under shorts are mesh and are really nice on hot days. When I do wear this skort I always get compliments! Great skort for the money!
By active girl from Raleigh, NC on 09/17/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Comfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Competition, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Awesome skirt. First one I have found where the inner shorts don't ride up during a run. Tried it out on a 7 miler and it was fabulous.
great hot weather run skirt By lola from austin, tx on 08/09/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: High humidity & triple digit heat is no match for this athletic skirt- I ran 8 miles in perfect comfort. I'm a 50+ age runner, I like the 'true waist' fit vs. hip syle, flattering 15" length and fabric flow. If they came in more colors, I would buy them all.
By ASC from Charlotte, NC on 08/03/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The compression shorts are long enough and stay put unlike so many other running skirts I've tried.
Cute, modest running skirt By Tri Kate from Rochester, NY on 07/30/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Skirt Sports products. My only gripe about this skirt is the length - I wish it were shorter. But I love the side pockets and the shorts underneath!
By Arlo's mom from Broomfield, CO on 07/21/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt is better than I expected. The first time I wore it was on a 7 mile run on a nasty hot evening pushing a jogging stroller. I tend to chafe easily and I was pleasantly surprised to have zero chafing and the skirt stayed perfectly in place. The shorts underneath are comfy, but pretty see-through so I wouldn't do any public stretching!
Finally, the PERFECT skirt! By Poppy from East Coast on 07/16/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Comfortable, Cute, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been searching for the perfect skirt for months. I have tried other brands and have paid more than $60 for a skirt that may look cute but rides up when I run. I have some friends who LOVE the Skirt Sports brand so when I saw this great price, I thought that it wouldn't hurt to give this product a try. I couldn't be happier! The shorts under this skirt are fitted and don't move at all...somehow they manage to be completely comfortable! They offer a bit of compression at the waist and lift the bottom, too.
By Kathy from Edgewater, MD on 07/12/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I love the idea of a skort with shorts underneath that don't ride up, the shorts on this were much too tight on me and almost felt as if they'd restrict circulation. I guess a tight fit is necessary to prevent ride up, but this was just too tight in the legs for me. BTW, I normally wear a size 2 or 4 and the small skort didn't work.
