Sporty and girly Love It!! By cat from Vienna va on 09/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fun, Flirty, and sporty...Love this dress!
By LJS from Wichita, KS on 08/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Versatile Best Uses: Running, Tennis Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first time trying a running dress after having multiple skirts. Based on other reviews and my previous experience with skirtsports, I ordered up a size and it fit perfectly. It was nice and cool to run it, but you do need appropriate underwear or shorts. The length was great and the dress is so cute and could easily be worn for other activities or even running errands. The only downside was the built in bra was not very supportive (I'm a B cup) and I need to wear an additional sports bra.
By LilyP from Springfield, MO on 07/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish I would have gone by the previous reviews, I love all the other skirt sport products they just missed it on this!
By Run from Madison, WI on 07/02/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On a Date, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic, Sexy, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this dress for working out, running, hiking, just about anything active. Not only is it extremely soft and comfortable, but you also look really good in it and people always compliment it. I love the no waist cinching which is comfortable and not having to worry about the waist riding up.
I think the bra top is fine for me, but a little thin and not really supportive for anyone who has more than a B chest. I liked this style so much that i bought every color! BTW, the low waist is flattering and elongates the body, rather than all those things out now that are empire waist and make you look so busty and pregnant!
By Momma J from Somers Point, NJ on 06/25/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering Cons: Bra too big, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Irregular for sure, but if you are OK with wearing a separate bra you will like this item. Wish the underwear was available on this site as well.
Really WANTED to love this dress, BUT... By runnermommy from Lake Norman, NC on 06/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Thin Fabric, Unforgiving cut Best Uses: Beach, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, Running if properly fit Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Youthful 40-something Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Despite the fact that I love the Skirt Sports line in general, this one is WAY off the mark. I am a size 4 and normally wear a size small in this line which usually fits perfectly, but the small dress was a bit too snug in the midsection, despite a nice fit in the chest and hip areas. So I tried ordering up to the medium, which was even worse: top was WAY too big, but thin fabric STILL revealed every lump and bump in the midsection, despite a more relaxed fit. If you are a very lean athlete with a perfectly flat stomach (or perhaps a stick-thin supermodel) then this dress would probably work for you. However, for the rest of us, the cut of this dress combined with the thin fabric makes it a very unflattering choice.
By Sportswear shopper from Golden, CO on 05/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Warm-weather running Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The running dress is great for wearing a fuel belt--no shirt ride-up and therefore no chance of chafing! I was disappointed to find that my dress is an "irregular"; the skirt is not sewn onto the bodice correctly so if the dress is allowed to hang freely it is longer in the back. I always wear it with the fuel belt, though, so with a bit of blousing it looks ok. I wish Sierra sold the matching spankies to wear underneath.
Nice idea but sizing and cut are way off By blizzard77 from chicago, il on 04/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Flimsy, Low Quality, Poor Fit, Rides-up, See Through, Unsupportive Describe Yourself: Athlete, Eclectic, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Too bad--the pic is great, the cut could be great but the sizing and fabric are way off. Bra is completely unsupportive and is sized MUCH larger than the hips. Very short--this would work well over a bathing suit but that's about it. Fabric is very flimsy and sides are see-through. The waist and hips are quite tight. This could be cute if either the fabric were thicker or the cut was corrected but misses the mark as running gear.
By la from WI on 04/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Wrinkle Resistant Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a short clingy piece
Not flattering for those of us who do not have a perfectly flat belly
By running goddess from Whitmore Lake, MI on 04/22/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed at how long this dress is. It might be nice for wearing around the house, but would not be practical to wear for running.
