Medium size more like XXXS. Supposedly 10% spandex, but more like 1% with very little stretch. Price economical so may try some creative alterations with creative layering.

It is more compression like than others I have tried so some may say it is smaller than described. I hover between a small and medium perhaps slightly more toward medium. I ordered medium and am happy with it. It is a true compression top with heavier type fabric so if you wear it as is meant then yes it could be tricky to get on and feel restrictive. If you are not looking for this feature definately order one to two sizes up. One for compression, two if you don't like restrictive clothing.

It was very tight even though I bought a medium as suggested by other shoppers. I usually wear a small. It rode up all day long, very annoying. It made me feel like a fat pig.

I read other reviews about the size of this top and ordered a large. It it still child sized. In fact, since it was so inexpensive that it will cost more to ship it back for credit than not too, I plan to give it to my friend's 10 year old daughter since she is just needing a training bra and I think the shirt will fit her perfectly.

I bought it solely for exercise. At first when I received the first shirt I was shocked at how tight it was. I am 5' 4", 115 lbs, C cup and had ordered a small. I exchanged it and ended up also buying another because the medium fit well and offered good support during exercise. Hope this helps.
