Love these light, quick dry short shorts By Ecogirl22 from washington dc on 04/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shorts. They are true to size. They feel so silky smmooth, not at all like the quick dry fabric i'm used to. I got the XS on my size 4-6 bottom and they are a bit tight and short, but a few months of exercise should make them fit much better! I loved them so much, i bought a pair for my mom! We're going o go hiking together in them. I felt the hot pink animal undie print was cute, and it shows just a bit on the waist, but my mom thought it was "only cute for younger people".
By Sharon from Atlantic Beach, NC on 04/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: beach, Casual Wear, Running Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was surprised the liner was a different color printed fabric, not black. You can't really tell that from the picture or description. Luckily it's a pretty print and I like it, but I was expecting solid black. I wear these at the beach and on the boat with a spaghetti-strap tank for a do-it-yourself tankini.
By black belt momma from Ohio on 03/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: Cover up for lifeguarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I knew these were going to run a bit short from previous reviews I read, but they are also not quite accurate on waist/hip size. I generally wear a small in other brands and got small in these, and although I can get away with them, they're not quite as roomy as I'd like. For the price and the purpose, though, they're a good buy.
By sagemaiden from Georgia on 03/29/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shorts for running with my dogs and for the gym. They are so comfortable and move with you. I wish they had more colors when I got them. Great shorts to stock up on.
Cheaply made, buy running shorts instead By luv2run from PA on 03/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Cons: Thin Flimsy Material, Very low rise Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are OK shorts, but to me, the rise was too short, the waist too low and since they have a liner, I feel I would have been better served buying running shorts with more coverage above and below the waist. I thought the material was very flimsy. The only benefit of these over traditional running shorts are the pockets. I definitely wouldn't find them suitable for running.
By NC Laura from Charlotte NC on 03/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Washes Well Best Uses: Running or walking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very comfy for running just a little short for me
By 53 is the new 35 from heidelberg, germany on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Running/Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these and have only worn them once but I really like them so far. The fabric is very lightweight and silky so it's great for running, dries quickly, doesn't bunch up. The pockets are handy and the low rise makes them very comfortable. "True to size" if you acknowledge that sport clothes tend to run small -- no vanity sizing there! I wear a 6-8 in regular slacks so ordered these in a medium and they fit perfectly. Wish they came in more colors -- I'd buy a half dozen.
