Many said they were very short, but some said they were just right, so since I'm only 5' 1" I thought it might just be taller individuals who reported that... nope... they are VERY short ... much less than the 5" inseam described. I don't know where that picture came from. The shorts would be perfect if the length was as pictured (if you get a size larger). If you are looking for a very short lightweight running short, these would be fine.

I doubt the entire shorts are 5 inches long. Micro short. They are good quality and they do fit but I may be arrested wearing them.
I feel if this is an irregular, the shorts should have been priced lower. Not fair to pay this price and not get what you thought you were ordering.

The shorts were short, I mean really short, and were more appropriate for running not hiking.

The shorts are too light of a fabric for hiking in my opinion, and though the size was OK, they were just unflatteringly cut.
