Adorable, but some drawbacks
By Workout clotheshorseVerified Reviewer from Saint Paul, MN on 03/29/2008
Pros:
Moisture Wicking, Stylish, Warm
Best Uses:
Cycling, Gym
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Athlete
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This top is very, very cute and the pocket in the back is a terrific plus (stow car key or gel). Sadly, it does not have the super supportive, wonderfully structured bra that the sports bra version has. It has a basic shelf bra. It is borderline as running support, and I am a small chested person. I probably will not choose it for running very often. Fabric: this is a dense fabric, which is great for creating a smooth line across your middle. The density also makes it slightly warmer, which is pro/con in a tank, depending on what you are looking for. Sizing: I took the other reviewer's advice that it was tight and ordered up a size. That was clearly desirable in the bra band and the waistline as my usual size would probably have been tight. The strap and armhole area could be slightly snugger for my preferences, so maybe my true size would fit me a little better there, but the one-size-up is overall the best choice.

I love the color and style. I usually wear a small but had to exchange for a medium which is still fairly close fitting. Quality of fabric and craftmanship is stellar.

I love this top. It is stylish and very comfortable not mention perfect for yoga. It does run a size small so I recommend ordering one size larger than you normally would.

Great but a little short
By outdoorsy grad studentVerified Reviewer from cambridge, ma on 03/12/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Snug Fit, Stylish
Best Uses:
Gym, Running, Team Sports
Describe Yourself:
Gym Rat
Fit:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Note: I've just tried on the product, so all I can say is based on looks and fit, not how it holds up or performs during a workout. The workout top is really stylish and fits well, except that it's too short on my torso (hits around navel), and I like tops that are slightly longer. I've never thought of myself as having either a short or a long torso, btw. For this reason, I'll be returning it. The pocket on the back is great, though -- perfect for a key, cash, or gel packs on longer runs.

Nice material, but fit still not great
By Prana sarah from Washington, DC on 03/11/2008
Pros:
Lightweight, Moisture Wicking
Cons:
Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Gym
Describe Yourself:
Gym Rat
Fit:
Feels too big
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The smaller size was too small & this one has straps which are a bit too long. So if you're medium & busty, this might not be the right choice.. However, the fabric is nice.

Need a thin midsection to wear this
By rckwmn8 from Colorado on 03/11/2008
Pros:
Long enough, Quality fabric
Cons:
Too snug on the waist
Best Uses:
Competition, Gym, Running, Warm Weather
Describe Yourself:
Gym Rat
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I felt really chubby in this. Ended up returning it. Usually moving comfort clothes are flattering, but this pointed out every flaw that I have. Excuse me, I have to go work out so that my self esteem can recover. I did recommend this to a friend because the fabric is really good. She a really thin friend, that can wear anything.

Cons:
Restricts Movement
Best Uses:
Gym, Running, Warm Weather

Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I really like this brand and this top specifically, but I found it felt too small. I wear a size 8-10 and ordered medium, but this doesn't feel comfortable b/c it's so snug. I plan to exchange it for a large. It is very well constructed and very pretty. I will be using it for hot yoga.
