Feminine, fun and comfortable By Playing in the mud from Bakersville, NC on 08/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Night Out, Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Okay so this is so much more stylish than I usually dress. Recently I had to attend a function, dress nice, and be comfortable as it was hot and muggy. This skirt was perfect. With a dressy Tee this jeans wearing, hair in a ponytail girl felt feminine, dressed up, comfortable and stylish. Fun is the best word for this skirt.

I have very average build, not too curvacious, but the waist gapped, and the hips were tight. Definitely made to fit right at waist. It also doesn't flare out at the bottom much like the cut looks like it would. I think a no-curves person would love this skirt.
By Claudia elle from Victoria Texas on 05/23/2009 Cons: Cheap Fabric, Low Quality, Poor Fit, Thin Fabric Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really cute design if it looked as good when received it. So small and I am a true size 10 in most everything. Plus, fabric very thin and edges really ragged looking although some may think this is boho chic. Also looks longer in picture and was really quite short.
By sweater lover from Indianapolis on 02/12/2009 Cons: Will go out of style Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is cute, but too trendy for me. I want my clothes to be wearable until they fall apart and this style has a short shelf-life. Also, the asymmetrical skirt length is a problem if you are short-ish. I am 5'4", just missing the Petite mark. With Tall not starting until 5'10", a "regular" skirt has to look right on 6" of varying leg length...quite a challenge. I've got a 30" inseam, long for my height, but the longer side of this skirt is a couple inches below the knee while the shorter side is a couple inches above the knee. I don't like the asymmetrical cut, but that is personal taste. I a cute summer skirt, I'd want it to hit just above the knee, not below it and I'm not sure this bias cut can be shortened w/o having it begin to ravel out. This is one of the few items I've ever sent back and I suspected it was going to be too trendy when I ordered it. My fault. However, the longer length was a surprise.

I love the cut, but wish that I had either (a) read the description more carefully of (b) noticed that the angled seam was not "neat" --it is left fairly raw. That would not have deterred me from purchasing it, but would've been nice to know. It seems comfy and could be dressed up or down. Although the fabric appears to wrinkle easily, it could also 'steam' straight in the bathroom with you when you shower...
By kel, the go fer from cape coral, fl on 07/10/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Cocktail Party, On a Date, On The Weekend, Special Occasions, To School, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This runs small, or so this seemed. I got it on, but it would sit on my "womanly" hips. Plus, there was no hem - just a raw edge. I was afraid to wash it, due to the linen material.
I would probably buy this in the XL - if they had them, because it's cool and comfy and the linen is not scratchy.
