A little heavier than I anticipated By NJVJ from North Carolina on 05/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Cons: Fabric is denim weight Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Career, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The skirt is closer to a canvas or denim weight than the light cotton I was expecting. It's probably a little too heavy for North Carolina summers. It's also a little more "outdoorsy" than the picture indicated to me. I wouldn't wear it to work- not even on Fridays. It's also a little big in the waist and that tends to be my largest area. All in all, not great . Even though it's a hassle, it's going back.
By Reen's mama from Raleigh, NC on 05/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flattering, High Quality, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, Trendy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this skirt. It is very flattering and very comfortable. I usually wear a 6 or 8, but the 6 fit me better. I ordered the peach color and then loved it so much I ordered another one in white. This is great to wear with flip flops, tevas, or cute sandals when you are not in the mood for shorts.

By Super Single Mom from New England on 04/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I expected this skirt to fall below the knee, but it barely falls at the knee. Not at all what I expected and hoped for - wanted it for casual and work, but too short. You can see the pockets through the white, which looks tacky. Fit is just unappealing - disappointing as this was the product I was most looking forward to receiving - I'm sending it back.
By MC from Upstate NY on 04/22/2008 Pros: Flattering, Versatile Best Uses: Cocktail Party, On The Weekend, To Work Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic, Sexy Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear a 12 or 14. The 12 fit well. This skirt can be dressy or casual. My only concern is that the front seam seems to stick out a little toward the bottom (instead of lying flat), but I haven't washed it yet.
By camel from N. Potomac on 04/21/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually find Aventura clothing casual and
attractive. The picture of this skirt looks
nice, but the cut is really strange, the hip
is wide, the skirt is almost a square shape.
