By meringue from fort wayne, in on 05/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Good Padding, Great Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking, Stacked training Describe Yourself: Collegiate/Pro Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great suit for practice. You you race in a suit with pockets (SWIM) you're either an idiot or you don't care about your time. The zipper is in the front - is this a backstroke suit? - because I swim free when I race... The padding is a bit much as well to be considered "streamline". I really like training in it though when I practice my swim to bike transitions on cool brick days. Very cheap suit for training
By Shane from Wisconsin on 01/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Most suits I would need a medium in, but per reviews on this site, I ordered a Large. I'm glad I did. I'm 5'11" and 174 lbs. The large fits me like a glove.
By Tri486 from Atlanta, GA on 01/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Great Fit Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This suit is great for bike/run "BRICK" training. I would recommend it for someone doing multi-sports. I would NOT recommend it for a "pure" cyclist or runner.
Heavier multi-sport athletes or pure cyclists may find the padding to be thin and find it more appropriate as a base layer.
By tri professor from Oswego, IL on 01/06/2009 Pros: Great Fit, Nice fabric, Sleak Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The material on this suit is exceptional--slick like a seal's skin--and the fit is great. If you are used to racing in tri shorts and a tank you will not be disappointed with the switch: no binding at the waist and no discomfort in the saddle. I didn't find it too small like some of the other reviewers and I ordered my usual size (M) and I am 6' 175# with larger than average quadraceps and a smaller waist. I find many cycling shorts and tri shorts tight at the leg openings but these were great. It may run a touch short from top to pad, but this is how bibs and one peice race suits often feel to me. This is a great tri suit for the money, actually its worth more!
slim fit, minimal padding By AeroMan from St. Louis, MO on 01/04/2009 Best Uses: Road Biking, Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sizing runs on the small and slim side. Padding is very minimal. I wouldn't buy this item again because of the minimal padding.
By Acev VI from Oceanside, Ca on 12/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Good Padding Best Uses: Long Rides, Mountain Biking, Road Racing, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased a small for my 15 yr old son. He could have used an extra small, it was large on him. He wore it for a mini tri and said it felt comfortable for the entire race.
Good suit for triathlons. By Julian from Seattle, Washington on 11/28/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Durable Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The suit is well made and feels really good in the wind. I have swam in it and run off the bike and it held up well.
By Ken from New Jersey on 11/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent for swimming and running but insufficient padding for biking.
Comfortable and functional Tri -suit By Charlie V from Washington, DC on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used the suit in 2 tris - one with a wetsuit and one without. The suit is functional and comfortable. It is my first Tri-suit so I can't compare, but it is better than the shorts/shirt combo for triathlons.
By zskywalker from huntsville, AL on 09/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this suit! Wore it the day I got it-it was raining and this thing sheds water like a shark skin. My only complaint is that I am 6'3" and the leg length is a bit short. Looks great and can't wait to race in it.
