...so they aren't as warm as the acorn brand at all. I returned them and will find the tried and true acorn brand that is lined entirely of comfortable shearling.

By on my feet a lot from Fort Bragg, CA on 11/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So far, I've mostly worn these shoes in the cooler evening. I like the gentle support, the flatness of their sole, and the simplicity of their look. The looseness of their bootlike fit pulls my socks down, so I wear them barefooted. After a day of wearing without socks, I noticed the soles of my feet had black stain on them. I assume this is dye from the black colored shearling. I hope this is a non-toxic dye. The "V" at the ankle makes it easier to get them off and on and is comfortable, but without socks, leaves a bit of uncovered skin, which gets cold if my pants don't cover. I haven't figured that one out yet. Overall, though, I like these shoes a lot.

Feel like a glove on my feet By Barbara from Washington, DC on 11/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm waiting for cold weather to really test these, but they feel so comfortable and warm. Worn with pants, they look like very stylish shoes. On occasions when Uggs are too casual, these will be an excellent replacement. I normally wear an 8, but because of the fleece lining ordered a half size up. I definitely need substantial socks with this size. I plan to try an 8 in another color.
By duckfeet from Va on 11/13/2008 Pros: Don't know yet, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Too big, Will exchange Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very difficult to order the correct size. I will try half size smaller. this size slips up and down on my heel. It feels cozy, but not for walking.
