By walker from nyc on 05/31/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the third pair I've bought. No breaking in is necessary. They're wonderful for travel and hiking. I bought a half size larger than regular street shoes. These shoes offer stability, comfort, and support for long walks on trails or traveling through city streets.
Great shoes but runs short By gerri from ny on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unfortunately I'm a size 12 so I couldn't get a half size larger. Feel like I missed the best opportunity for a great hiking shoe.
By Little bit from Tucson, AZ on 05/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Great traction, Stable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Wear, Hiking, Scrambling, Trail running light Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this shoe so much I have three pair. I have wide feet and high arch -- my feet feel great after hiking/running or wearing during the day. I wore them today on a desert trail (lots of up/down, rocks, uneven terrain, hot) - performed well, no sweaty feet, stable yet I could still feel the ground (agile). I even do a little down hill trail running in them without discomfort. I wear a 5.5 women's shoe. My only gripe is the 5 is too small and the 5.5 slightly roomy. Easily corrected with thick socks. I even use these when doing "leg day" at the gym. Buy two pair at this price!
By xxx from CA on 05/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Heel wide for women's shoe. Suggest one more eyelet to lace heel tighter. Outstanding comfort immediately otherwise.
Have rated all that apply. For instance this is NOT a "Casual Shoe" it's for hiking. I wear it for morning treks with hiking poles—average 2 miles. Two previous trekking shoes worn for 2 years. Figure over 500 miles each. None of "Best Uses" apply. Also, how could a user reply to "Cons" on a new product: "Wear Out Quickly"?

By TN Bargain Shopper from Franklin TN on 04/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking shoe but you need to size up by half a size, especially if you need to fit orthotics in, as I do. Unfortunately, there is never an 11 1/2 so I can't size up. Size 11 should be 42.5-43 in European sizing but this one - and many others - are just 42 which is too small.
By Outdoor Kat from Livermore, CA on 04/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Daily Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pair of shoes as an approach/hiking shoe, but I love the way they look. They look great with jeans, and I have worn them to brisk walk around the neighborhood, as well. On a recent trip, I replaced my walking shoes and casual shoes with this one pair; so they saved me some space in my suit case.
