By highaltitude from flagstaff on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes will get you lots of attention. I would not use them on the trail, one because I wouldn't want to get them dirty and two because they seem like they would wreck your ankles
High quality and "green" to boot! By Wayward Hiker from Seattle, WA on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Sustainable Materials Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fantastic shoes all around. Very well constructed and comfortable right out of the box. True to size.
I have flat feet, so the arch support could be a bit better. The shoes do have a removable insole though, so I can easily put in orthodics.
By SD from CA on 11/26/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: No stability control at all - just taking a few steps you could feel that the shoes rolled inwards. But the shoes had great traction. Returned them.
By JW from Las Vegas, NV on 11/19/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this and other Patagonia shoes. They fit perfectly. I never get the crowded toe box feel of some other brands. Very true to size. Very good protection for bottom of feet even on rocky terrain. My feet felt as good at end of hike as when I started. I'm looking for more Patagonia shoes!
By pleased from montreal on 11/17/2008 Pros: Durable, Look great, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: a bit stiff at first which makes the heels slip a bit. this goes away after a couple of times wearing them. also great to wear on weekends and casual occasions!
I have already purchased a second pair. By Ann the hiker from Oklahoma City, OK on 11/08/2008 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Not bulky, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband and I hike in the mountains over loose rocks, streams, and varied terrain. I like shoes with good grip, not too stiff, and well-cushioned. I also don't like bulky shoes that make it easy to get a toe caught on something and trip. These shoes satisfied all of my requirements. They also look good. I can clean them and wear them around town without feeling conspicuous.
