By Weekend Hiker from San Luis Obispo, CA on 05/17/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Never really got to try these out because the heels were too wide for me. Love the Patagonia concept though and am usually impressed with their products.
By Angelica from Bay Area, CA on 05/16/2008 Cons: slightly big at the heel Best Uses: Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are great! We tried them on a 13-mile climb with elevation change of 2,000 feet and they performed very well. The heel seems a bit too wide, but while you're climbing you don't notice any inconvenience. I am not sure if this is how they are supposed to feel, or it's an error in design. Anyway, I love them!
