They seemed more like a slipper to me. I don't need rugged wear to go outside - I wear Dansko sport clogs all the time, but these would not hold up. Also were large for their size and really didn't look as good as the picture.

I wear them around the house and when I run errands. They transition well from home to car and look great with PJs, sweats, and jeans. They are super comfy (snug like moccasins) and warm, while allowing my feet to breathe at the same time. As a busy mom, I appreciate how easy they are to put on.

They have no support. I am using them as house slippers in the evenings after work with my sweats.

fantastic shoes AND slippers By cat mom from berkeley, ca on 02/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Versatile Best Uses: Around the house, Everyday, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual, Outdoorsy, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: they are super warm (but maybe too much for a long hike) and soft. and i love the "mule" feature, perfect for keeping next to the bed. they are just about the only shoes i wear these days. it's always too much trouble to put on my down ankle booties for that quick midnight trip over the cold bathroom tiles so these slip-on are great! at first the back of the heel was a bit hard on my foot when it folded down but now it's softened up just fine. wore them for a long walk (with the heel up, as shoes) in the pouring rain yesterday and came home with totally dry feet. they might run a bit large but i usually wear socks too.
