Not suitable for city streets By Beth from New York on 02/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: Thin-soled, Weak Construction, Wear Out Quickly Best Uses: Running errands Describe Yourself: Casual, Frugal, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes make a great winter driving moc. To that end, they're fine for anyone who drives everywhere; they're fine for walking around a mall, as well as walking to and from a parked car. However they are not suitable for people who get around on foot and public transportation. I don't need my shoes to be expressly designed for walking--and have some that aren't but are fine--but these had soles that were way too thin for frequent use on asphalt. While the shoes are a great deal, they were not so inexpensive for me to simply wear them as slippers. I returned them.
By New puppy mama from Puget Sound WA on 02/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable Best Uses: Taking the puppy out Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for getting up in the morning to take the puppy out to pee even if it is wet, frosty or whatever. Wouldn't want to wear them for a long walk but for casual use they are good inside and outside.
By Invadermom from Galloway, Ohio on 02/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Going Out, Travel, Work Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These came just after another snow storm. I found them to be warm, comfortable, and easy to wear. I usually wear between a 91/2, or 10. Depending on the shoe. I ordered these in a 10 so I could wear light weight socks. They fit just right. I am really glad I bought them. I would not wear them in really deep snow. Boots would be a much better idea.
You can't go wrong with Patagonia By Colorado transplant from Marion, MA on 02/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Suport Best Uses: Around the house, Casual trip to the store Describe Yourself: Conservative, Outdoor person Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great deal from Sierra Trading Post. I purchased these in the fall and love them. More support then Acorns slippers. Can be worn out side to take out the trash and grip pretty well on ice. They show water spots when wet, but once they dry it goes away. Great buy and they look like they will hold up well.
