By Josh from Jackson, Tennessee on 04/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this on a STP sale and I really like it. Here's the negatives: the chest pocket isn't the most functional and it kind of sticks out a little, and also, I usually wear size large but the jacket runs a little big and I now wish that I ordered a medium. That being said, I love this jacket. It's no frills, not a lot of pockets, but it is very comfortable and it looks great. Some of the reviews talked about sleeve length being an issue. After studying my jacket on me, I guess the sleeves are SLIGHTLY longer than most, but I happen to like the length a lot.
By Trailrinding fool from Tucson, AZ on 04/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Needed better color choic Best Uses: Casual Wear, Horseback riding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was jealous when I saw his jacket, it was much nicer then I expected. We were both pleased.
By CZ from Michigan on 04/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Fishing, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have not worn the jacket much yet but it seems prefect for cooler outdoor activities. The logos on the sleeves are a little much but does not stop you from wearing the coat.
Nice jacket but runs large By tottales from Marquette, MI on 04/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this to wear biking and running in cooler spring/fall weather, but the sleeves are too long and the body too roomy. I normally wear a medium, but would get a small if they had one. Nice jacket for casual wear, but not active things.
good jacket but sleeves are long. By renzo from albuquerque nm on 02/11/2009 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a good jacket. I use it to run and for fishing. The sleeves are definitely too long. I would also lose all of the embroidery on the sleeves.

By Ozarks fisherman from Southwest Missouri on 12/12/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Water repellant, Windproof Best Uses: 3-season fishing FWS, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The most notable feature of this jacket for me is the sleeve length. I am 6'2", 175lbs and have atypically long arms. I would describe my ideal size as "medium long". It is difficult for me to find jackets that fit properly, but this one does very well. I bought the black colored medium at a discounted price, and it fits comfortably close in the chest and the sleeves are long enough for my arms. There's no velcro or other means to adjust the cuff. But, pulling the cuff toward the elbow will result in the cuff fitting snuggly around the mid-forearm (for those thinking about fly-casting).
Beware of the tacky embroidery on the shoulder, though. I just colored over the embroidery with a black permanent marker.
The chest pocket flap also protrudes a bit, the jacket material is thinner than I anticipated, but still warm.
Bottom line, I think it is going to be a good jacket for the discounted price.
Great Jacket for the Money By clay2young from an island on NC coast. on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket two years ago when I was heavier. Just recently bought another one in a size smaller. Guess that must mean I like it. Jacket runs just a little larger to size than other brands. Like a medium is 39-41 rather than 38-40.
Redington Skeena River Jacket By Tom from Bellingham, WA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Cheesy embroidered logo Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't keep this jacket. I normally wear a large size shirt (I'm 5'9" 165lbs) but I ordered a Medium and it was still too big. Also the cuffs had virtually no elastic and no hook & loop closures so the sleeves just hung down over my hands. Not good for a jacket from a fishing company. You get what you pay for I guess.
