I would buy this product again By Fishhead from Florida on 04/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Windproof Cons: Not a cold weather jacket Best Uses: Cold and windy, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is ideal for fishing a stream or from a boat with chilly and breezy winds.
By Buywamic from Oregon on 03/05/2009 Pros: Adjustable hood, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Good range of motion, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is near perfect for a shell wading jacket. I fish in the winter on the Deschutes and metro rivers. It is a perfect jacket for driving wind and rain. I have reached underwater and the velcro'ed sleeves kept a lot of water out. The material is stretch and accomodates added layers underneath. I have added several heavy shirts and a fleece and have not maxed the coat out. The material is resistant to branches and briars.
The multiple front pockets are great for storing medium/small fly boxes (I can fit a 16 compartment Flameau fly box in the front pockets). The zippered larger pockets in the front hold a lot of gear as well. The pockets in the rear are a bit difficult to reach without twisting and pulling the coat around a bit. It's a good place to store items that you aren't using often (large fly box, camera, spare spools, etc). The pockets have durable tabs for easy opening with gloves on. There is an interior breast pocket that is also large, providing a safe place for items as well. Basically, there's enough pocket space that I do not have to carry a butt-pack for an all-day fly fishing trip.
This is a true wading jacket. People who are looking for a coat for other outdoor wear might find that the shortened length is not acceptable. It works well when standing in a river.
I've had this submersed nearly up to the chest (whoops) and came out completely dry and warm.
The articulation of the arms is good for casting flies, and doesn't inhibit casting motion, nor do the sleeves ride up when casting as the fabric stretches.
I've owned many other jackets for wet and windy weather fishing, and this is by far the best.

Great Wading Jacket for the Price By Tom from Wyoming on 02/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: From the high country in Wyoming to the Plains of Montana this jacket has proven to be a supurb buy. I fly fish in rain, snow, or shine and this jacket has held up through all of it. The pro's...pockets, waterproof, durability, and the stretch fabric is awesome. Cons...I am a fairly big man and cannot get to the rear pockets. I have fished in this jacket in 0 degree weather and 50 degree weather and i have to say it is not meant to be a winter coat, simply a performance shell. With that in mind, for the money YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER JACKET!

Will be great in the spring fishing for bass.
Great deal on a great jacket By BowFlyGSP from Lansing, MI on 01/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Amazing deal on a great wading jacket. The single layer construction should make this a good jacket that is light enough to wear in the summer while night fishing in Michigan.
