Great coat, really like it... By hunting, fishing, cooking... from St-Georges, Quebec, Canada on 09/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Hood, Lightweight, Many pockets, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Fishing, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the design, it's full of pockets. Waterproof membrane works well. The only little thing I would change on this coat is the lenght, it was specified as a wadding jacket, and it sure is. You better wear some bibs or wadding pants if you intend to use it as a rain coat. Bottom line: I would buy this again with no hesitation.
By mikesalmon from Nova Scotia, Canada on 08/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a chance to try the jacket. I am impressed with it. It is very good value. In cool weather you should probably wear something under it because I do not think it will keep you warm. The one complaint I have is that the wrist cuffs are not tight enough so when you reach in to tail a fish the water gets up inside and you get wet. I am 5'6" 170lbs. I ordered the large because I did not want to have to send it back if the medium was too small. I probably could have got away with a medium. However the large will allow to wear layers underneath to stay warm in the fall. Overall I think good value for the money. I will most likely order one for my step dad.
By Etamaman from Beaverton, OR on 08/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great. It has the full collar with the fleece which I like for those cold weather days. Also, the pockets are well designed for storing what you need for a day on the river steelheading. I like the close to the chest storage while casting a spey rod.
The only thing I could find bad.......it is not very "snagproof". What I mean by snagproof is walking through brush with thorns. It hangs up very easily on thorns...not like waders or my previous PVC wading jacket.
Other than that, I am very pleased.
Thanks Sierra Trading Post!
By Bjortelino from Vaxjo, Sweden on 06/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Feels great! The only thing I might have against it is that an M seems a bit big, but maybe it is because I´m swedish (our sizes might be smaller?) The fabric screams quality - I hope it will last me a long time!

By bronzebackbasher from western N.C. on 05/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a really nice jacket, and for the money i cant see doing any better, i would have given it 5 stars but i havent worn it in a true downpour yet, but did get caught in some light showers and it kept me very dry and quite warm (30 mph gusts) it has many pockets and the rear pockets i found quite usefull for drinks and snacks. im 5'11" 160 pounds and the M is loose enough to layer underneath and the sleeve lenght is just right for me, any heavier and i would go to a large. overall an excellent jacket, feels tough and very comfortable to wear. keep them coming STP!!!

Looks great... and it is. By Carter from Kelowna BC, Canada on 04/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, great feat. (D-ring etc), Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My girlfriend gave this to me as a gift and I may just have to marry the girl! It's got plenty of room for everything I need, access to it quickly and the comfort level of a cadillac. The fleece neck lining is great, and it comes up to protect your face. The only trouble is the cuffs with the velcro strap. It tends to snag the line if you're not careful when you're working your cast or twist stripping. A little piece of tape fixes that. I highly recommend this jacket if you're fishing tough conditions and don't want a soaked fishing vest over top of a conventional rain jacket.

For Italian people the size M is a Large.
