Comments: I followed the first reviewer's advice and ordered 1/2 size larger. I normally wear 6.5 and ordered 7. The leather is very buttery soft. I love the feel of these boots. Sole is thick rubber, and provide lots of cushion. My feet don't hurt walking in these boots. They are stylish enough for some dressier skirts in the office. This is sometimes a little warm, so this is great for cold days. I love these boots. I have smaller calves and these are actually slightly larger than my calves, but not too large where I'd swim in it. For reference, my calf's largest measurement is 13". Base on the other comments, these are probably not good for wide width feet and larger calves. One of my best boot purchase.

Comments: These boots are absolutely beautiful. They are everything you would expect from an Italian leather product--attention to detail, modern and chic without compromising comfort.

Comments: Beautiful well made boot. I am of average size. I've never had any difficulty fitting boots. Unfortunately, the calves on these are very narrow. I took the boot to my local cobbler and had him put a gusset in. Even with that it's still rather tight. I'm hoping that over time the leather will soften so that they are easier to zip.

Comments: We travel ALOT and I want to be comfortable but not irritable because my feet hurt. At the same time...I want to look gooood!! I don't like low/flat heels even though they are in style right now but these boots fit the bill. Stylish, sleek, yet comfortale and weatherproof! I was sooo dissappointed that they were too small [...]
Too Small for the Stated Size
By Over 40 and Fabulous in Rainy Washington from Washington State on 12/5/2007
Sizing:
Feels full size too small
Cons:
Couldn't zip past ankle, Not a typical size 8, Seems to be mis-sized, Too small--narrow calf
Best Uses:
None--I returned them
Describe Yourself:
High-end shopper, Stylish
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I typically wear a size 7 1/2 in women's shoes and always buy my boots a half size larger. The size 8 in this boot actually felt like a size 7, and the calf was way too narrow--it almost seemed defective or mis-sized. I purchased 2 pairs of the Aquatalia Optic Mules and loved them--I was sorely disappointed that the boots seemed so far off size for the SAME brand.

Comments: They're perfect boots - and they zipped up my larger size calf. Based on other reviews, I bought half a size up - and size 8 fits my 7.5 feet perfectly.
