By LopeVA from Luray VA on 04/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: I've never had a problem Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my umpteenth pair of Acorn slippers, and I can't praise them enough. They're always soft and durable. I can wear them forever and only replace them when the cushion has worn out.
By Sara B from Rochester, NY on 03/28/2008 Cons: Poor quality, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a pair of Acorn Toesters that were wonderful, but I wore through them fast. I got these newer "models" as a replacement and they are the most uncomfortable slippers I have ever put on my feet. The fuzzy stuff these are lined with is nothing like the Sherpa my older slippers had, the soles are -too- cushion-like, and just sort of odd. [...]
By KHS from Cleveland, OH on 03/04/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Slippers were two sizes too small. I odered size 9 and ended up giving them to my neighbor who's a size 7. She felt they were snug, and hoped they'd stretch. What a waste of [$]!
By Carlin from Barcelona, Spain on 01/16/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great looking warm cushiony slippers, the only problem is that while they are slip on, the back part is not totally flat, there is a small lip around the heel. With the hard sole you can go out and get the mail or throw out the garbage. Once you get used to the thing in the back they are perfectly comfotable.
By Cayce from Atlanta on 01/07/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Uncomfortable Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: There is a seam across the toe that gives me blisters. In order for the seam not to bother me, I have to have my foot extend off the back making the slipper uncomfortable
By Colorado comfort seeker from Fort Collins, CO on 01/06/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This would be a great slipper for me if only it was a bit longer... I am between a 9 and 9 1/2 with a narrower B width; although I ordered a size 9 they fall slightly too short which means the hard piece that binds the sole hits me right in the heel. OUCH! They are also a bit on the wide side for my somewhat narrow foot, so going one size up will not help. The padding in the footbed is WONDERFUL; I wish they had this kind of padding in all their slippers! And the sole is durable but not as "stiff" as some of the other (i.e. "Spa") Acorn slippers... if ONLY this slipper was a slight bit longer in length and a tad narrower... then it would be the perfect slipper for me! Sadly I will be returning them. I would recommend them for folks with shorter, wider feet. (Probably best if half sizes order the next size up, as long as their feet are wide enough to accommodate the extra width.)
