He can get them on and off himself, they are warm and not too slippery on our hardwood floors. They are a touch wide, but he has narrow feet. In socks, they seem to stay on just fine. They were a great price and while they are not leather or sheepskin, he'll have outgrown them by next winter anyway.

I got them for my 7 year old son, who normally refuses to wear slippers. He loves them! I got the grey, and they are very attractive, yet look boy-ish enough for him.

My son wears a a 9 1/2 in Stride Rite and the 9 1/2- 10 1/2 fits just perfectly, with not too much room to grow. He loves it! The best part: the non slip sole.
