North West Archery Hunter By Idaho Elkhunter from Cheney, Wa on 08/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Quality construction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Bow Hunting, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bow Hunting in the North West can start out with a Temperature in the low twenty's and soon reach the high seventy's. Sunny one minute, and pouring the next. That's the beauty of this system as built. It allow's you to layer at basically any temperature or weather condition you may encounter. Add to that the suede style outer covering, and you have the real deal for hunting. I have not had a chance to use the entire outer suit in a drenching rain yet, but have given it the water hose torture test at 60 psi. I stayed dry as a bone. If you priced the separate pieces alone in this "Sportsman's Suit" you would easily be in the $500 range. I'll be buying another one!
Why can't they make stuff for girls! By LovesAdventure from Central Fl & SW AK on 08/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is what I was looking for. Ordered a Md. by listed measurements, but need a Sm, possibly XS. [...]Gave it true to size cause it fits my teenage son. Will be great for my upcoming hunt. Not made for the shape of Female body, but better than anything I've tried so far. To heavy for regular Hiking if pack weight is a concern. High Quality Overall.
By HOOK from Newbyrgh, NY on 08/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned this item because it was much bigger than your usual XL. Also it only had a tall jacket, and the rest was just XL. That did not work for me. So, because the XL was bigger than usual, and the rest was too short, I returned it.

I just wish it had a zippered inner liner. By itself it is not very warm. You have to carry the inner layers with you separately. That is the only reason it did not get the perfect 5 star rating.

Our college-age son is going to university in Seattle, and needs qood quality rain protection plus warmth for when he ventures to the colder side of the mountains. This coat is very well made, and we expect will look good and last a very long time. It is light, soft, and moves easily.
