Way too small, but great looking! By No name from Atlanta, GA on 12/26/2007 Pros: Breathable, Fabulous looking, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Maybe 2 sizes too small Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wish I had been able to keep it, but couldn't even zip it up!
By Stormy from Gainesville, VA on 12/18/2007 Pros: Beautiful coat, Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautiful coat, with lots of cool features, including the colors, stitching, and even the spiders - it just LOOKS very cool. So it's really the perfect product... But I should have listened to the size 10 advice... I'm a size 12 and was hoping, but to no avail. I'm pretty certain the other review is right - size 10 for the xtra large. Size 12 & over, sadly, need not apply;-(
By brooklyn from Brooklyn, NY on 12/17/2007 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks fabulous, but not sized appropriately. I am a size 14; I ordered the XL but couldn't zip up the jacket! Like other reviewers, I'd recommend the XL for someone who is a size 10/12, especially since this is a shell.
By J from Saratoga Springs, NY on 12/10/2007 Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Liked the style of the jacket. Was very shocked that it did not fit at all. WAY to SMALL. I was wondering if it was mis-marked. I don't see how any adult would fit into this.
High Quality, but Runs Tiny! By JT from NY on 11/14/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not insulated--shell only, Not Warm Enough Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Runs really tiny. I bought womens XL and am a perfect 14. I could barely zip it closed. No room for anything but T shirt underneath and not really that. And the jacket is not insulated. I bought a Lowes jacket in womens L not XL and it fit perfectly. I am a 14 in the Spyder Diamond jacket.
The jacket is stylish, of high quality and well made and durable. But if you usually wear a 10, buy the XL. Particularly if you want to wear a sweater underneath. Even an 8 would not go wrong with the XL. The smaller sizes might fit children.
I would recommend to a friend, but only if she is a size 10 or smaller.
