By WS from Maryland on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket held up great to snowboarding and sledding. It was warm but, not bulky. I had plenty of room for layers. Pay close attention to Spyder sizing when ordering. My jacket fit perfect! I love all the pockets, especially the one in the back on the jacket.
By Alicja from Massachusetts on 02/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this jacket skiing and also skating. It kept me warm on a blustery New England day. No complaints.....I would only change the color but it was such a great bargain that I couldn't pass it up! Also, you must order two sizes up! I normally wear a small, but the large fit me perfectly.

Great Jacket - runs small though... By Patty from Boston, MA on 01/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thanks to the reviews I ordered a Large, when I am always a small, but the jacket fits perfectly. It has great features and lots of pockets,it is warm but lightweight. The colors and style are amazing. I would recommend it, just be careful with size as all Spyder jackets run small, order two sizes up... (same for the matching pants, I ordered one size up (M instead of S) and they fit perfectly).
By Casual skier from Jennings, LA on 01/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket. I really like the female-cut. All of the pockets are nice and the armpit vents are a plus. Plus, it is stylish.
size L feels like a size small By no new jacket lady from Needham,MA on 01/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Almost sent it back , because it runs so small; gave it to a family member
Will think twice before ordering again
By Wishing it were larger! from New York on 01/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Cons: Tight-fitting and short Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 5'6, and this jacket was too short and tight! It really doesn't run true to size. I ordered an XL, and it felt like a size small. Most XL sizes are a little large on me! Otherwise, the coat is well-made! I think it would be suitable for a petite or junior-sized person. It is a tight-fitting jacket. I think it would be rather constricting for skiing which was my intended use.
By apa from Boston on 01/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The large is approximately the size of a small. I wear a medium and saw that it ran small so got a large. Is much smaller that my other medium similar style jackets. It is beautiful. I was very diasppointed
By luvchocolate39 from Iowa on 12/27/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Cons: Maybe not warm enough, Short Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I almost didn't order this jacket because one of the reviews referred to a "large" spider design on the back - it is in actuality smaller than the palm of my hand and hidden under the hood, it can't be seen unless the hood is on your head. The jacket is shorter than my Columbia Interchange but not as bulky - don't know if it will be as warm, but the fit is great - I wear a 6 and a size small in the Columbia line - I ordered the large (6-8) in the Spyder and am very happy with the way it fits. It's roomy enough that I'll be able to wear a sweater underneath with no problem. It also has a lifetime guarantee and you can register your coat on Spyder.[@] - hard to go wrong with that.
