XLT Technical Ski Jacket - Loaded By pattio from Red Sox Nation on 12/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket runs extremely small, I'm a typical medium, size 8-10, and the XL fits me great.
By No Nickname from Juneau, AK on 12/14/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm returning it because it did not seem true to size. I ordered the same size as I have in another Spyder jacket - this one wouldn't zip. I guess I would recommend measuring your chest size and not trusting what size you usually wear.
By soccermom from Harbor Springs, MI on 12/03/2008 Pros: Has lots of features, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great looking jacket with lots of ski style features. The wrist guards, the snow skirt, the many pockets for goggles and ski passes. I'm thrilled with it.
Great Jacket - runs small By ALF from Reno, NV on 11/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Not bulky, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great jacket but it runs REALLY small. In North Face and Columbia gear I wear a women's medium but with this jacket I needed an extra large just to feel like I wasn't stuffing myself in it. Make sure you try one on in person before you order online to make sure you get the proper size!
I love the thumb holes! The detachable hood is great and it's not a bulky jacket which makes it even better.
By cilla from Collinsville, Illinois on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Can't commment on durable, Comfortable, I love the thumb holes, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the jacket. The thumb holes are great. When you slip gloves over them it will be very warm. What a great idea! It is light weight and warm...what else could you want.
Nice jacket but runs small By Ski Gram from Richland, WA on 09/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Technical Design, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Pretty and technically designed jacket. Zipper opens at top and bottom. But this jacket has some problems. It runs really small. I ordered a L, sent it back for an XL and still is form fitting. Sleeves are short, cut fairly short in length, and chest is tight and I am not big in that area. Not much room to layer. The snow skirt slid up to my waist when I lifted my arms, so wearer would continually be pulling it back over hips. Also has fewer pockets than I would expect in a Spyder jacket. Sadly returned both L and XL.
By Ski bum from New York City on 08/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great looking, very well designed ski jacket. It is a fitted jacket, but true to size. Has all the pockets, hooks, etc. that you would want for skiing. Can't wait to get it out on the slopes!

Removable hood is a great feature
By Friend from Tupelo, MS on 04/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this jacket (the white one, colors are great if you like fashion)for a trip to Canada. It was perfect! I was able to wear a base layer plus a light turtleneck under the jacket without any problems with movement. I was warm, which was my biggest fear in their 16 to 20 degree weather. Also, lots of pockets and I loved the thumb hole that kept the sleeves down covering my wrists and most of my hands when I did not wear my gloves.
By Betty from Wisconsin on 02/25/2008 Cons: Not accurate to size Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was really looking forward to this jacket. Ordered size 16 (XL) because I wanted it loose. It fit very tight. Not a size 16 or even close to XL.
