While it is generous in the seat area, this works well for me. The roomy seat allows you to get in and out of the car easier. It keeps you warm on cold, snowy, wind blown days. The hood is a nice option; it really does lie flat and is not bulky. This is a reasonably priced shearling coat. Buy it - you will not be dissappointed!

First, the dark brown is a lovely color, the inside is plush (much like Ugg boots) and it is warm! But it is not the supersoft, lightweight merino shearling, so it does not really drape well. Also, while it fit me perfectly in the shoulders and chest, it was loose in the middle and hips. So if you are a fairly "straight" build it feels a bit boxy and is not a terribly attractive cut - not awful, but not very flattering. For someone heavier in the waist and hips, though, this would be a godsend. I can fit a very bulky sweater underneath. My biggest complaint: silver-toned grips on the hood drawstring that look cheap and awful with the dark brown, What were they thinking? The hood is also a bit skimpy. I don't see pocket bumps. Overall, this is not a top-notch shearling coat, but it is nice, and still a very good price. Great for casual wear.

I also noticed it wasn't the classic western light tan with cream but darker with darker shearling inside. That was what drew me to this coat but I must say the picture DID NOT show the color I got. I was looking for a little lighter color but kept the coat because of the construction, the price, and the fit. I WILL ADD I HAD TO ORDER TWICE TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE..IT RUNS LARGE IN THE HIPS! The shearling also is not the soft kind you find in your slippers but a straighter, coarser, almost prickly textured shearling. Again, it grows on you the more you put it on and I realize it has to be firmer to wear well and look good for a long time. This is a heavy coat so if you want to have something light for travel you should try something different.

Gorgeous coat and great proce. I have been looking for a long time for a shearling and this was the best prce and I am so happy with the quality and style. Cut well, it is a little loose but I like that since I want to be able to wear a suit or sweater under it. I love the hood and length.

The trim fit is very flattering. However, when I ordered my usual size, 6, the coat did not fit well. I then ordered an 8, which fits nicely with the exception of long sleeves. The coat lays well on a 5"1" person, although it is not a petite size. The workmanship is wonderful. I have never owned a such an expensive coat that I purchased as such a reduced size. If you refer to the Aston Leather website, you will find useful information regarding care of the coat that was not included with this purchase.

Size 8 fits well, although sleeves are slightly long. Since the coat is a trim fit and not a petite size, the extra room allows for good fit at the hips. However, the coat is well made and quite warm, quite beautiful and a great
price.
