By dog walker from Pittsburgh, PA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Warm, Wind Resistant Cons: Crinkly fabric, No give, Too short, Too small Best Uses: Casual, Cross Country, Dog walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket fabric is so noisy, crinkly, and uncomfortable, it's like wearing a Hefty bag. I purchased it to be able to walk my dogs in a waterproof jacket with a warm hood. Besides the fact that it is smaller than described, the fabric had no give and was uncomfortable.
By Linde from Chaska, Minnesota on 12/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Hiking, Yard work Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love my jacket. The high collar is the best. Do not need extra scarves. Fleece collar is removable for washing. Hood is thin but warm. Love the internal pockets. Heavy duty zippers.
Extremely well made for the price.

Nice looking, comfy and functional By mdnberry from VA on 12/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got this jacket yesterday and I totally love it. I ordered a size L (I would normally wear a medium) because I like my jackets a little roomy so I can layer underneath and it fits me perfectly. I have been looking for a jacket that doesn't have the fleece liner like most jackets nowadays, but instead the inside is smooth and silky so it slides on easier. I like to wear my sweaters on my body not attached to the jacket so if I have to take it off I won't be standing there in an undershirt. It still feels very warm without the bulk, seems like it's well made and looks great too. I love all the pockets, even discovered a little attached cleaning cloth for the goggles inside one of the pockets. The fur collar is pretty neat and the fact that it's detachable makes it even better. One thing I wish it had is a hood that can be rolled up and hidden inside around the neck. This one can either be on the jacket hanging or you can take it off. All in all I think it's a great jacket, matches my newly purchased green Columbia Powder Drifter pants. Can't wait to try them on the slope!
By Mrsgonzalves from Atwater, CA on 11/19/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am so impressed with this coat! VERY warm, lots of options for different styles, too!
I have long arms, and it fit really well. I usually have to buy a large to get the length, but got a medium and fits perfectly!

By Ski Gram from Richland, WA on 09/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Bulky, Not a technical design, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Around town, Downhill, Winter activities Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice looking, warm but not very technical jacket. I really liked the fuzzy collar. The hood is large enough to fit over your ski helmet and jacket seemed very warm. Coat fit loose enough to be able to layer. There was only one chest pocket that zipped, (except handwarmer pockets) not really enough for keys, money, credit card, phone, and anything else you can't risk loosing. Cute velcroed sleeve pocket but set at awkward angle. Zipper does not separate/unzip at bottom. Elastic drawcord around bottom ends up in handwarmer pockets so you'd have to empty pocket to cinch up bottom of jacket.
By Kiwi from Auckland, New Zealand on 08/07/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Getting Started Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved this jacket. I ordered a size bigger than I thought I needed as it looked quite short. It doesn't have a snow skirt so I'm glad I did.
It is very warm, I had to take all my thermal gear off for the second day of skiing and the lovely fur collar means you don't need to wear a scarf.
