But so far the coat is not warm, especially with a cold wind. I am hoping to use it in transitional weather without the lining, and I hope it will be cool enough for that 9I am from texas).

Great look & quality but runs small. By Tawny One from New York, NY on 12/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This would have been the perfect trans-seasonal coat, but I wish I had known that it ran slim thru the body. I wear a size 10 & I would not be able to wear a jacket comfortably underneath. By time I received it there were no larger sizes left. The Gabradine is a nice tight weave & the coat has the traditional back split. Beautiful styling & at 53" long enough for us tall gals. Wish I had known in advance about tighter fit.
By central oregon runner from sisters, OR on 12/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a gorgeous coat! I loved everything about it, except it was very long - to the ankles and I'm 5'9". It would have been awkward walking in it, so I returned it. If you like a very long coat, I would definitely recommend it.

Comfortable coat in wind and rain By Stormgirl from The Netherlands on 09/26/2008 Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...]I immediately fell in love with this coat. I have it in black, which looks very classy. I will wear it in our typical tempestuous and rainy Dutch winters. Being Dutch I go often to work on the bicycle, so I must have good protection against wind and cold as well as being dressed for the office. It is long, so I can wear a long skirt under it, and while it is a little big, I use that to wear additional layers under it on really cold days. The hood looks very comfortable.
By Anonymous from Wisconsin on 08/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight fall coat Describe Yourself: Classic, High-end shopper, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat is great if you are looking for a lightweight spring or fall coat, or live in southern climate where it doesn't get cold in the winter.
By The North Country Girl from The Netherlands on 07/31/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fine elegant overcoat that should suit all occasions in the fall and early spring, still has to prove itself during the cold northen Europe winter and/or heavy rains we do get here... Seems a bit light to withstand these, I bought it in the summer so only time will tell. [...]Still, I am sure I'll enjoy it and I love the color and the cut/fit. A quality item no doubt.
