Excellent for Wet and Cold Conditions By hamm1st from Frisco, TX on 03/03/2010 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Great water repellancy, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I recently skied two days in this jacket in the Lake Tahoe area as a storm system passed through. The first day, there was a steady rain/snow mix that turned to heavy snow late in the day. The second day, heavy snow showers passed intermittently throughout the day. No moisture got throuth the jacket -- I was always dry and comfortable.
Size runs large, so if you are on a borderline between sizes, order the smaller size.

By Dreaming of Snow from Petaluma, CA on 02/04/2010 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Skiing Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket will keep you warm. I skiied for 2 hours in a December rain and the waterproofing was amazing. I was still warm. The hood on this rolls into the collar and is quite functional if not as weatherproof as a full hood.

Several loops and buckles detached on the first use. Would not anticipate a long life for this product.
